Join our dynamic team at CHA Cambridge Hospital as a Practice Medical Receptionist in the CHA Obstetrics & Gynecology Center. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a supportive and culturally responsive environment, serving diverse individuals with their obstetric and gynecological needs.

Job Description

• Handle all calls appropriately and courteously
• Register patients and schedule appointments via Epic
• Verify insurance eligibility using PASSPORT
• Maintain and support both paper and electronic medical records
• Collect, process, and reconcile co-pays to be deposited
• Provide financial support by processing charges, reconciling daily receipts, and identifying and correcting errors in billing
• Assist direct patient care providers with electronic and paper correspondence
• Participate on a planned care team and attend departmental meetings

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience working in an outpatient medical setting preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole preferred
• Experience working on a Planned Care Team preferred
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
