Job Description:
- Perform all personal care activities contained in a written assignment by the Registered Nurse (RN), including personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfer.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment, including light cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, sleeping and living areas, and washing dishes or laundry.
- Measure intake and output of fluids, temperature, pulse, respiration, or blood pressure.
- Keep records of personal health care activities.
- Observe appearance and gross behavioral changes, reporting to the Registered Nurse (RN).
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in home care is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current, valid Pennsylvania CNA license OR 75 hour Home Health Aide Certificate
- PPD or Chest X-Ray
- Valid Driver's License
