    Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

    Come join our team! We look forward to meeting you. Careage Home Health is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who can travel to patients within Pierce and Thurston County!

    Job Description

    • Administer speech therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.
    • Provide a full range of Speech Language Pathology services as ordered by the patient's physician.
    • Participate with all other home care personnel in patient care planning.
    • Instruct patients and family members in home programs.
    • Comply with Medicare documentation requirements.
    • Help develop the plan of care and revise as necessary.
    • Advise and consult with the family and other agency personnel.
    • Participate in in-service programs.
    • Appropriately utilize ICD-10 codes.
    • Participate in QAPI activities as assigned.
    • Perform any other duties as required by the Director of Clinical Services.

    Requirements

    • Master's or doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
    • Currently licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Washington State.
    • Two (2) years' experience preferred.
    • Home health experience preferred.
    • Ability to travel within Pierce and/or Thurston County is required.
