We have an immediate need for an Emergency Medicine Physician in Central Connecticut. This state-of-the-art emergency department was rebuilt and renovated in 2010 and features 56 private ED patient rooms with full specialty support. 

**Job Description**

- In-department laboratory and radiology services
- Designated Primary Stroke Center
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- Annual volume of 55,000 patients
- Level III trauma center
- 8-9 hour shifts with 1.8 - 2.3 patients per hour
- Double physician coverage
- Double to triple advanced practice provider coverage

**Requirements**

- Active Connecticut medical license
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
