Nurse Practitioner

Center for Neurosciences, Southern Arizona's largest and longest-standing neuroscience group practice, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to work with our Neurological Team. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running in an exciting work environment.

Job Description

• Able to independently see and assess patients with general neurology conditions
• Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with the Neurological team in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients
• Assist staff with clinical questions as they arise
• Write thorough patient notes in a timely fashion
• Submit billing and charge data in an accurate and timely manner

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
• Certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Current DEA license
• Current national board certification
• Minimum two years of healthcare experience
• Experience in Neurology - Preferred
