Bilingual Family, Internal, or Geriatric Medicine Physician

CenterWell Senior Care Centers, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is seeking a bilingual Family, Internal, or Geriatric Medicine Physician for our clinic in El Paso, TX! You have the opportunity to take a hands-on approach, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and looking beyond to understand how social determinants of health are impacting health outcomes. We have a unique care model that distinguishes us from patients and providers. We are experts in primary care focused on older adults with a multidisciplinary approach.

Job Description

• Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm; no weekends, and 8 paid holidays off
• Flexible schedule available, if needed
• Join an experienced team with two Advanced Practitioners and a Care Team

• Acts as a lead and active participant and key source of medical expertise with the Care Team through daily huddles
• Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient-facing time and general administrative time (charting, meetings, etc.) as it relates to direct patient care

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain state license)
• Current, unrestricted DEA license
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two to five years directly applicable experience preferred
• Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients with understanding of best practices in a coordinated care environment in a value-based relationship environment
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
• Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators
