    Pharmacy Operations Manager

    Job Description

    • Adheres to all policies and procedures.
    • Establishes workflow required for pharmacy operations and ensures compliance with all SOPs.
    • Responsible for the performance to the Continuous Quality Assessment and Improvement Program (CQAIP) and supports activities in Quality Units.
    • Ensures local, state, and federal regulatory compliance.
    • Develops and maintains strong customer service relationships.
    • Coordinates new customer start-up.
    • Responsible for the successful operation of the pharmacy and develops strategic plans.
    • Monitors financial activities.
    • Provides financial and operational reporting to management.
    • Responsible for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination.
    • Functions as a Staff Pharmacist when needed.

    The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time. It shall be the duty of every employee while at work to take reasonable care for safety and health of himself/herself and other persons.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or PharmD required; Master's degree preferred.
    • 10-12 years related experience required.
    • Applicable industry/professional certification required.
    • Regular and predictable attendance.
    • Occasional business travel required; ability to work non-standard schedule as needed; on-call hours as needed; valid Pharmacist license.
    • Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) with possible weekends, holidays, and after-hours on-call hours as needed.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
