Surgery Technician

Job Description:

• Performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other professionals in the operating room and endoscopy suites.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of healthcare experience
• Knowledge of Surgical Instruments and Procedures
• Knowledge of Anatomy/Physiology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years Clinical/Hospital Operating Room Experience
• One year Sterile Processing experience
• Graduate of surgery technology program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

Bonus Information:

• This position is eligible for a CRITICAL POSITION BONUS equal to $10,000.00.
• Current employees are not eligible for this bonus.
• Candidates must have two years Clinical/Hospital operating room experience and graduate of a surgery technology program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or 5 years Clinical/Hospital operating room experience to be eligible for the bonus.
