Med Aides - Long Term Care

Located in Elkin in the beautiful Yadkin Valley Region of North Carolina, Chatham Nursing & Rehabilitation has been committed to quality healthcare for 19 years and is one of the leading providers of long-term and short-term care throughout the area. We currently have Nursing openings for Med Aides on 2nd shifts.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in long-term care, be compassionate and caring, handle multiple priorities, work flexible hours, and motivate staff.

Job Description

• Provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure resident comfort
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal care

Requirements

• Must be certified by NC DHHS
• Credentialed in NC with unencumbered NC License/Certification
• Preferred: Two years experience in a Long Term Care environment
• Direct experience with Electronic Medical Record software - AHT a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and all levels of the organization
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
• Ability to be accurate, concise, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Experience and comfort working with computers, Windows, and MS Office
• Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be a certified CNA
