Nurse Practitioner - Director of Nursing sought for Cherry Hill Women's Center, a state licensed ambulatory surgical center that has delivered excellence in abortion and reproductive healthcare for over 45 years, always at the forefront of best practices in our field. Our team members are committed to advocating and caring for people seeking legal, safe, compassionate and respectful abortion care through 28 weeks of pregnancy, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care.
Job Description:
- Supports clinical oversight of the nursing and medical staff
- Provide direct patient care and staff support as needed:
- Pre-procedure medical assessment
- Recovery Room nursing
- Participating in training of student nurses
- Play lead role in complex clinical situations
- Assists in orientation and training programs for new employees
- Assists in creation and upkeep of policies and procedures that govern clinical services
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent patient care skills
- Intermediate computer skills (EHR experience preferred)
- Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted
- Active New Jersey APRN license
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- 2+ years of NP clinical experience (prior experience as an RN will also be considered if applicable)
- Holds high standards, attention to detail and a commitment to CHWC's mission and core values
- The talents to lead a team with respect and a sense of humor

Schedule:
Full-Time hours Tuesday through Saturday - 9-5 - no overnights - no holidays
