Weekend RN

Registered Nurse - RN for Home Health and Hospice Care

Join our team as a Registered Nurse for home health and hospice care, working weekends only (Friday/Saturday/Sunday). This position allows you to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds in their homes, providing compassionate and empathetic care outside of a clinical setting.

Job Description

• Cover incoming calls and make necessary patient visits as required
• Provide patient care and coordinate the services of a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with the patient's physician
• Complete initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of the patient's needs and requests at appropriate time points assigned
• Initiate the plan of care and revise as necessary
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, medication and pain management, and hospice care

Requirements

• A graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Prior home health, hospice, or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical and assessment ability
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel
• Strong documentation skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused with a positive attitude
