Job Description
- The primary function is performance of all phases of CT Scan Testing. Work is performed on outpatients in accordance with established procedures and protocols of the department and under the direction of the Radiologist.
- Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
- Perform clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
Shift
- 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Weekend requirement (quarterly)
- No holidays
Requirements
- Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year accredited program).
- Completion of ARRT registry in CT scan required (achieved within two years of hire).
- State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.
- Completion of formal and/or on-the-job training on cross-sectional anatomy.
- An Associate's degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associate of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field) within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
- Certification in CPR.
- Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper and safe positioning and transfer of patients.
- Completion of IV training course.
Special Requirements
- State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.
- The successful completion of the CT Registry exam is a job requirement. A technologist who is recruited and non-certified will have a grace period of 2 years following hire to pass this exam.

Hourly Pay Range: $38.22 - $61.16. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including, without limitation, skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
