    Registered Nurse (RN) - Transitional Neuro Unit

    Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Transitional Neuro Unit, a 6-bed step down unit that focuses on patients who have been stepped down from the Neuro Critical Care unit at Christiana Hospital. The Neuro Critical Care Unit specializes in the care of neurological and neurosurgical patients, including but not limited to hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke, cerebral aneurysms, brain tumors, brain and spine infections, complicated spine surgeries, hydrocephalus, neuromuscular disorders, seizures/status epilepticus, and isolated neurotrauma. Our highly motivated nursing staff and strong preceptor group promote professionalism, education, and camaraderie.

    Job Description

    • Provide nursing care to patients in the Transitional Neuro Unit.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.

    Requirements

    • Current RN license to work in the state of Delaware.
    • BSN required; commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of the date of hire.
    • BLS Certification is required.
    • RN must have at least two years of RN experience working in an ICU, stepdown, or progressive care unit.

    Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

    This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
