Job Description:
- Plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate patient care activities.
- Collaborate with other Clinical Associates to meet individual needs using communication and available resources to promote quality, cost-effective care.
- Report directly to the department manager and/or designee with clinical supervision provided by a licensed occupational therapist.
- Responsible for utilization and supervision of volunteers, students, and support staff relating to the provision of occupational therapy services.
- Interpret and implement physician orders, provide safe care to customers, protect confidential information, engage in professional communication, use time and resources economically, and create a positive work/therapy environment.
- Be knowledgeable of the principles and practice of occupational therapy.
- Perform the technical skills of the certified occupational therapy assistant and be competent to operate the equipment utilized in the professional area.
- Write and speak in a professional and intelligent manner and demonstrate supervision/management skills.
- Willing to assume additional responsibilities as requested.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree
- OTA License in state of employment
- BLS
