Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Job Description:
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
- Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
- Exhibit behavior and communication skills aligned with the organization's mission, values, and culture
- Utilize state-of-the-art computerized diagnostic imaging equipment
- Demonstrate competency with starting and maintaining intravenous (IV) access and using high-speed, pressurized injection equipment
- Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and possible contraindications
- Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers, coordinating and prioritizing procedures to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity
- Rotate within departments and clinics for proper coverage as required
- Assist Radiologist in invasive and biopsy type procedures using CT equipment
- Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams and comply with Infection Control standards
- Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered
- Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate unique needs
- Protect patient confidentiality and avoid disclosing confidential information unless necessary for job duties

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent
- 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting required
- 3 years of CT experience in a clinical imaging setting preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Registered by the ARRT in CT
- Current state licensure required
- BLS certification required
