    Nursing Care Provider

    Job Description:

    • Provides professional nursing care to clinic patients under supervision.
    • Collaborates with providers within the team setting to facilitate quality care.
    • Performs general nursing care and administers treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
    • Assists with the preparation of equipment and aids provider during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
    • Observes, records, and reports patients' condition and reaction to drugs or treatments to providers.
    • Manages appointment bookings and prioritizes patients in emergency situations to maintain timely flow.
    • Greets patients, obtains well-documented history and vitals, and prepares for physical exams.
    • Instructs patients in the collection of samples and tests.
    • Performs various tasks like obtaining vital signs, coordinating patient transfer, and administering medications as per licensure/certification.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
    • Previous medical office experience preferred.
    • Valid state license to practice nursing.
    • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

    Professional Development:

    • Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional licensure and affiliations.
    • Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.
