    Job Description:

    • Join a busy OBGYN practice with a team of physicians and midwives
    • Work in a full-service, acute-care, 431-bed regional referral center

    Requirements:

    • Current certification to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Texas
    • Current Texas midwife certification
    • One year of full-time post-licensure clinical nursing experience
    • Graduate of a State Board and/or NLN accredited School of Nursing
    • Graduate of a State Board and NLN Accredited Advance Nurse Practitioner program
    • Master's Degree required
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Leadership skills to direct others toward successful patient treatment
    • Analytical skills to evaluate patient status and healthcare procedures
    • Fiscal skills to monitor and control costs and revenue
    • Ability to conceptualize, develop, and implement new ideas or systems
    • Able to exercise sound judgment and discretion
    • CPR; ACLS preferred
