    Job Description:

    • A professional who plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates patient care activities.
    • Collaborates with other Clinical Associates to meet individual needs using communication and available resources to promote quality, cost effective care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reports directly to the department manager and/or his/her designee with clinical supervision provided by a licensed occupational therapist.
    • Responsible for utilization and supervision of volunteers, students, and support staff relating to the provision of occupational therapy services.
    • Responsible for interpretation/implementation of physician orders, provision of safe care to customers, protection of confidential information, professional communication, economic use of time/resources, and creation of a positive work/therapy environment.
    • Knowledgeable of the principles and practice of occupational therapy.
    • Perform the technical skills of the certified occupational therapy assistant and be competent to operate the equipment utilized in his/her professional area.
    • Ability to write and speak in a professional and intelligent manner and must demonstrate supervision/management skills.
    • Willing to assume additional responsibilities as requested.

    Requirements:

    • Associate Degree.
    • OTA Lic in state of employment.
    • BLS.
