Job Description:

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement care for assigned patients requiring physical therapy.
• Gather pertinent data from charts and other caregivers; discuss with physicians as necessary.
• Independently assess all patient types as assigned.
• Recognize additional needs during evaluation and exercise good judgment in decision-making when requesting, scheduling, and/or performing additional testing.
• Interpret results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable goals.
• Reassess patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy or when the need arises.
• Identify appropriate equipment, discuss with the patient and family, and make recommendations.

Requirements:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• LPT License in the state of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Type:

• Per Diem, as needed.
