Location: Alamogordo, New Mexico

Job Description:

• Team Composition: 4 full-time orthopedic surgeons, 2 mid-levels, 1 physical therapist
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; OR hours vary depending on patient load
• Call: On call once every 3 weekends
• Patient Distribution: 80% outpatient; 20% inpatient
• Patient Volumes: 20-25 patients per day in clinic; surgical cases on surgery days will vary

Requirements:

• Experience with OR, clinical settings, intraarticular injections, casting, and splinting
• Orthopedics certification preferred but not required
• We encourage both new graduates and experienced professionals in general surgery to apply

Position Overview:

As a key member of the surgical team, you will work closely with the Chief of Orthopedics, serving as his first assist in the OR. The schedule includes:

• OR: Monday, Wednesday, and Tuesday afternoons
• Clinic: Tuesday mornings, Thursday, and Friday
