Job Description:
- Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement care for assigned patients requiring physical therapy.
- Adhere to all standards of the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
- Gather pertinent data from charts and other caregivers; discuss with physicians as necessary.
- Independently assess all patient types as assigned.
- Recognize additional needs during evaluation and exercise good judgment in decision-making for additional testing.
- Interpret results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable goals.
- Reassess patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy, or as needed.
- Identify appropriate equipment, discuss with patients and families, and make recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university.
- LPT License in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
