Job Description:
- Practices independently and demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects in a similar clinical setting.
- Provides routine and complex care, focusing on long-range goals or plans.
- Makes appropriate assignments and delegates tasks to other care providers.
Responsibilities:

- Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administers medications and treatments using the appropriate protocol; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
- Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.

- Plans, directs, and evaluates overall nursing care and functions during an assigned shift.
- Demonstrates good stewardship in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

- Educates and trains others on industry operations, ethics, and regulations.
Safe Practice/Quality Care/Regulations:
- Incorporates patient safety practices to promote a safe environment and positive outcomes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred.
- BLS required.
- RN License in state of employment or compact.
