Job Title: Behavioral Health Social Worker

Job Description:

• Provides Social Services to the Behavioral Health Services Department.
• Conducts group counseling and lectures.
• Participates in weekly clinical staffing sessions.
• Engages in referral development, community education, and outreach activities.
• Reviews emotional, behavioral, and social assessments.

Requirements:

• Louisiana LCSW preferred or master's degree in mental health field.
• General knowledge of psychosocial principles; procedures, techniques of acceptable patient care, grief, loss, and related counseling skills.
• 2 years of experience as a salaried social worker with at least 1 year of counseling experience in the mental health field preferred.
• Current Louisiana driver's license required; verification of auto liability insurance required.
• Current Louisiana LPC/LCSW/LMSW/MSW License.
• LMSW or MSW accepted. LCSW required within 36 months.
• Current CPI/SAMA or completion within 90 days of employment and recertified annually.
