    Job Description:

    • Apply medical ultrasound to patients in accordance with doctor's orders.
    • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment efficiently.
    • Handle patient needs effectively.
    • Document procedural information in the patient’s medical record.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision.
    • Document calibration procedures for imaging equipment.
    • Organize and plan for emergent cases efficiently.
    • Assist Radiologists in invasive biopsy procedures.
    • Ensure accurate billing and procedure charges.
    • Maintain and report equipment and computer status.
    • Adapt patient care responsibilities to meet unique needs.

    Requirements:

    • Education/Skills: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or equivalent.
    • Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound preferred.
    • Licenses/Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT/Sonography certification in Abdomen required within one year. LRST/ARRT Radiologic Technology License preferred. Certification in OB/GYN or Breast preferred. BLS required.
