Physician - Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Job Description

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders/diseases of the cardiovascular system
• Perform a range of non-invasive cardiology procedures
• Diagnose patients with the aid of diagnostic images, electrocardiograph recordings, etc.
• Review patient histories and perform physical examinations
• Conduct heart disease early prevention screenings
• Conduct cardio and vascular disease early prevention detection screenings
• Perform metabolic and peripheral vascular disease testing
• Conduct echocardiography and stress echo testing
• Monitor pacemakers and defibrillators
• Review all test results and recommend suitable management for patients
• Prescribe medications
• Formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans
• Communicate with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care

A variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon provider preference and patient needs. All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants. The practice uses the Epic EHR.

Requirements

• New York medical license
• DEA
• Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology
• Nuclear certification
• Echo certification

Compensation

• $400,000 to $575,000 starting salary, negotiable based on experience
