Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Join our organization as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Odessa, Texas. This physician-owned medical practice specializes in the care of expectant mothers and newborns, having grown since its founding in 2017 to operate in multiple states with over 100 board-certified neonatologists, OB hospitalists, and pediatric specialists.

Job Description

• Full-time position with 7 shifts per month
• 24-hour shifts with flexible options available
• Delivery attendance
• Day-to-day management of the NICU
• Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds
• Provide collaborative, team-based care of NICU patients
• Nutrition management
• Lab review
• Meeting with families
• Newborn nursery coverage

The award-winning hospital has a 49-bed Level 3 NICU and serves as the region's perinatal referral center. The schedule is coordinated collaboratively among all providers, with the option to bundle shifts if preferred. The hospital uses an EHR, and clinical assistants are available to assist providers in all situations. The new NNP will have autonomous work and also collaboration with skilled neonatologist physicians.

Requirements

• Texas NP license
• Neonatal nurse practitioner certification (NNP)
• 1+ year advanced practice experience strongly preferred
• Hospitalist experience preferred
• New graduates considered on an individual basis

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary of $125,000 to $150,000+, based on experience
