Medical Assistant
Our Medical Assistants work side-by-side with our providers at Cibola Family Health Center to provide excellent patient care and service. We're looking for skilled, self-motivated individuals who work well in fast-paced clinic environments.
Job Description:
- Assist providers with the care and treatment of patients
- Take patients back to triage and exam rooms
- Record documentation to the record, weight, blood pressure, and other vitals per clinic policy
- Assist with exams
- Draw blood and provide injections
- Perform EKGs
- Other duties involved in providing optimal patient care
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified MA preferred
- Medical Assistant trained
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Proficient in the use of a computer and other office equipment (fax, calculator, copier etc.)
- Ability to run CLIA waived tests
- Ability to administer meds/vaccines by injection
- Proficient in reading and documentation of medical records
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- Good interpersonal ability
- Knowledge of Corporate Compliance and Privacy Laws
