    Nurse Assistant / Certified Nurse Assistant

    Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility is looking for our next life guard to care for our residents. We are actively recruiting for a Nurse Assistant/ Certified Nurse Assistant to care for our residents. Not certified? No worries! We will provide paid on-the-job training to help you obtain your certification.

    The skilled nursing facility is a 90-bed facility located in Stockton-at the lake! Our facility includes two memory care units for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

    Job Description

    • Develop a relationship with our residents and supportive healthcare team.
    • Provide excellent care to the residents in accordance with federal and state regulations.
    • Ensure safe nursing care is provided and all resident needs are met.
    • Report concerns to the charge nurse for follow-up.
    • Bathe, dress, and assist residents with all hygiene and toileting needs.
    • Assist with resident transfers and answer call lights in a timely manner.
    • Make rounds on assigned residents and accommodate their needs.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of the resident Plan of Care.

    Requirements

    • Education: High School Diploma or higher (Preferred).
    • Experience: None needed as we provide on-the-job training.
    • Skills: Good communication skills, patience, attention to detail, flexibility, interpersonal skills.
    • Licensure/Certification: Certified Nurse Assistant Certification (if not certified, we help you obtain your CNA and provide on-the-job training). CPR Certification (we also provide this if needed).
