    Join a talented team of individuals who serve this country by caring for our Nation's heroes! Clay Consulting, a VA (Veterans Affairs) subcontractor, is looking for a full-time Audiologist to perform Veteran Audiology Examinations.

    Job Description

    • Apply your expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of audiological conditions to support a Veteran's disability claim.
    • Gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations.
    • Develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteran's condition is related to their military service.
    • Provide Compensation & Pension (C&P) services to Veterans, including but not limited to taking health histories, performing assessments, and diagnostic testing.
    • Utilize application of assessment and evaluation in rendering medical diagnoses and opinions.
    • Prepare timely, unbiased, and complete documentation of all Veteran care as provided by law, regulation, and established policy.
    • Apply safety principles as identified by established policy.
    • Participate in continuing education to stay abreast of current technologies/practices.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Exhibit a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with Veterans, families, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Adjust to fluctuating volume while maintaining quality, timeliness, and customer service.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

    Requirements

    • Doctorate Degree in Audiology (AuD), Master's of Audiology (M.A.), Master's of Science Degree in Audiology (M.S.), Audiology of Speech Language Pathology Degree (PhD), Master's in Communication Disorders (MCD), or Doctor of Education in Audiology (Ed.D).
    • An active and unrestricted audiologist license in the state in which exams are performed.
    • Must be either ASHA certified or have completed master's or doctorate level at an ASHA certified program.
