    Job Description:

    • Responsible for monitoring and improving the level of care within Clinovators CBOC Program.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs of CBOC(s).
    • Provide input into the clinical policies governing the organization and facilities.
    • Supervise medical/provider staff and participate in quality assurance activities.
    • Oversee clinical safety and risk management.
    • Guide and oversee the care provided as a clinician.
    • Serve as a leader to define a vision of quality improvement.
    • Act as an operations consultant to address organizational functions.
    • Directly supervise medical practitioners providing patient care.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Physician Leadership: Personally responsible for providers assigned to the CBOC, holding practitioners accountable for performance and practice, including corrective actions as needed.
    • Patient Care-Clinical Leadership: Apply clinical and administrative skills to guide the facility in providing care.
    • Quality of Care: Develop and manage quality and safety initiatives, including risk management.
    • Education, Information, and Communication: Provide information to help staff and practitioners understand company goals and initiatives related to operational and clinical requirements.

    Professional Experience Required:

    • Experience in reviewing and monitoring the VA's SAIL Value Models/Metrics.
    • Experience with the implementation of the PACT Model.
    • Experience in tracking and improving the VA's CBOC Quality and Process improvement requirements.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the executive management team to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve the CBOC medical practice.
