    Job Description:

    • CRNA needed
    • This position works closely with the Surgery and Mother-Baby Unit Department staff ensuring the provision of high-quality, safe patient care
    • This is a full-time position, variable days/shifts

    As a CRNA, you will:

    • Assess patients' medical histories to predict anesthesia response
    • Develop anesthesia care plans
    • Obtain informed consent from patients for anesthesia procedures
    • Select and prepare equipment monitors, supplies, drugs, fluids, and/or blood products for the administration of anesthetics
    • Monitor patients' responses and manage patients' airways
    • Respond to emergency situations by providing airway management, administering emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques
    • Perform or manage regional anesthetic techniques such as local, spinal, and epidural
    • Participate in ongoing continuing medical education efforts and the implementation of process improvement
    • Cooperate with surgeons and staff to ensure optimal patient care
    • Participate in meetings and involvement in policy formation

    Requirements:

    • Current Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure in the Anesthetist category
    • Successful completion of a master's level accredited school of nurse anesthesia
    • Current certification as CRNA through the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (CCNA)
    • Minimum of two (2) years experience as a CRNA in a hospital setting
    • This position typically requires 1st and 2nd call. Call response time is consistent with ACOG standards
    • Current Certification in ACLS, PALS, and NRP
    • HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire
