Join our dynamic team as a General Dentist. This position offers a supportive environment with a focus on providing dental care to medically underserved populations.

Job Description

• Schedule/Clinic Hours: M-F 8-5, no Saturdays
• Patient Volume: 20-25 patients/day; some rural locations may see less until the volume builds back up
• Payor Mix: Primarily Medicaid/Medicare, sliding fee, etc.
• Responsibilities include general dentistry (cleaning, extractions, fillings, some Crown & Bridge if approved; no dentures at this time)
• Provide dental care through corrective care, prevention of dental disease, and promotion of dental health
• Work with 1 Assistant, 1 Hygienist, and 3 operatories per site
• Additional dental sites have been added as the organization has grown
• Utilize NextGen System and Patterson Dental equipment

Requirements

• Ability to communicate and relate effectively with patients, administration, and medical personnel
• Must function as a collaborative and egalitarian team member
• Ability to work under stress while maintaining a level of quiescence that decreases anxiety in personnel and patients
• Must be able to work with children
