    General Cardiologist

    Join our team as a General Cardiologist in a beautiful Northern California mountain location within 1 hour of Lake Tahoe and 40 minutes of a major metropolitan area. This position offers an excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to practice medicine in a supportive community.

    Job Description

    • Offer excellent non- or limited-invasive, non-interventional general cardiology care to adult patients in our outpatient clinic and at our community hospital
    • Provide general cardiology care 3-4 days per week in our outpatient cardiology clinic
    • Implant pacemakers and loop recorders (not required skills)
    • Perform cardioversion
    • Read echoes, Holter monitors, stress tests, and EKGs
    • Participate in a 1:4 shared hospital call
    • No outpatient clinic on hospital call day
    • Round on inpatients
    • Consult with ED and hospitalists
    • Oversee the hospital's cardiology lab
    • Perform TEE's (required skill)
    • Collaborate with the hospital's impressive Cardiac Rehab program and staff
    • Enjoy a strong referral base from within our community's providers
    • Partner with highly trained, competent, and caring support staff

    Requirements

    • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
    • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
    • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
