General Cardiologist
Join our team as a General Cardiologist in a beautiful Northern California mountain location within 1 hour of Lake Tahoe and 40 minutes of a major metropolitan area. This position offers an excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to practice medicine in a supportive community.
Job Description
- Offer excellent non- or limited-invasive, non-interventional general cardiology care to adult patients in our outpatient clinic and at our community hospital
- Provide general cardiology care 3-4 days per week in our outpatient cardiology clinic
- Implant pacemakers and loop recorders (not required skills)
- Perform cardioversion
- Read echoes, Holter monitors, stress tests, and EKGs
- Participate in a 1:4 shared hospital call
- No outpatient clinic on hospital call day
- Round on inpatients
- Consult with ED and hospitalists
- Oversee the hospital's cardiology lab
- Perform TEE's (required skill)
- Collaborate with the hospital's impressive Cardiac Rehab program and staff
- Enjoy a strong referral base from within our community's providers
- Partner with highly trained, competent, and caring support staff

Requirements
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
