    Job Description

    • Provide first assist in neurosurgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
    • Conduct patient rounds in the ICU and inpatient units, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Manage a diverse clinic schedule, including new consults, established follow-ups, pre and post-operative follow-ups.
    • Participate in on-call rotations, covering nights and weekends, with associated compensation.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

    Requirements

    • 2 years surgical experience.
    • Physician Assistant Studies.
    • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state.
    • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
    • Previous experience in neurosurgery or surgical settings is advantageous.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

    Physical Requirements

    Medium work - exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

    $55.00 - $80.35 / hour
