Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a part of the Pacific Northwest Division of CommonSpirit, is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join our esteemed team in Federal Way, WA.
Job Description

We are a well-established and busy physician and midwife women's health group located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Our group consists of 5 OB/GYN physicians, 6 CNMs, and 2 APPs. We also have support from MFM, Urogynecologists, and Gynecologic Oncologists. We provide evidence-based women's healthcare services to Federal Way and surrounding communities.

Schedule requirements include working seven (7) 24-hour onsite shifts per month. Duties include providing 24-hour onsite labor and delivery coverage, collaboration with CNMs, and ER coverage for GYN emergencies/surgeries.

Candidates must be hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated to providing superior patient care. Our group enjoys a mix of both gynecology and obstetrics - including high-risk obstetrics and gynecological surgeries. Typical case mix includes vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy. There is also a midwife on call.

Hospital Overview
St. Francis Hospital is a 124-bed, Level III Trauma Center located in Federal Way, WA. There is 24/7 in-house Anesthesia coverage as well as MFM support. St. Francis has a Level II Special Care Nursery capable of caring for infants as young as 32 weeks as well as a partnership with Seattle Children’s for specialty newborn care if needed. Our group does approximately 140-160 deliveries per month. St. Francis has achieved Baby Friendly designation as well as recognition by the International Lactation Consultant Association for excellence in lactation care.
Requirements

MD or DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible (must become BC within the first two years of employment)

2-4 years of practice experience as an OB/GYN required.

Washington State medical license required at time of employment

DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority

Current BLS for Health Providers certification by the American Heart Association
Compensation Information
$145.69 / Hourly - $219.20 / Hourly
