    As a Physician Assistant, you will assume responsibility and accountability for comprehensive care, support, and education to patients and their families through all aspects of their medical care process. As a Physician Assistant, you will:

    • Participate as a key member of the team to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.
    • Utilize a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to the care of the patient/family serving as an expert practitioner, educator, consultant, and researcher.
    • Maintain responsibility for job performance specifications.
    • Assume personal accountability for departmental mission, organizational mission, and core values.

    Requirements

    • Two years prior experience in surgery (if applicable).
    • Masters graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
    • PA Certification by N.C.C.P.A. and current mid-level provider license by the state of Colorado required.
    • BLS from the American Heart Association required.

    Physical Requirements

    • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly).

    Preferred Experience

    • Hospital and surgical experience preferred.
