    Location: North Central Mississippi

    Communicare is a community mental health center serving Calhoun, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Tate, and Yalobusha counties.     Job Description:

    • Provide direct care for individuals designated as ID/DD in the supervised living program.
    • Assist in the acquisition, retention, or improvement of social self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills.
    • Facilitate meaningful day activities to build positive social behavior, interpersonal competence, and personal choice.
    • Engage in community integration activities.
    • Monitor and supervise individuals at all times during service provision.
    • Participate as a member of the Communicare Treatment Team.
    • Transport clients to various activities and appointments.
    • Perform duties under the supervision of the Supervised Living Supervisor.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Ability to perform the listed job responsibilities.
    • CPI certification or ability to complete CPI training.
    • Ability to relate positively to individuals and their families.
    • Must maintain a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and an insurable driving record.
