    Associate Medical Director

    About the opportunity: As the Associate Medical Director at Community Health Rutland, you'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering full-spectrum care to patients of all ages. In addition to providing direct patient care, this leadership role empowers you to shape clinical excellence, mentor colleagues, and advance organizational strategies. Our Rutland site uniquely integrates primary care and express care under one roof, with onsite behavioral health, care management, and social work services all designed to support team-based, patient-centered care.

    The AMD serves as a clinical and strategic leader, directly supervising providers and championing initiatives that improve quality, safety, and workforce wellness. This role also contributes to broader system goals through involvement in committees and corporate-level planning, making it ideal for a physician looking to pair clinical practice with meaningful leadership impact.

    Job Description

    • Leadership and mentorship role with clinical oversight responsibilities

    Compensation

    We offer a highly competitive and comprehensive compensation package tailored to support your professional goals and personal well-being.

    • Base salary starting at $300,000, with potential to exceed $500,000 annually under RVU-based incentive models and expanded leadership responsibilities
    • 4-day clinical work week with outpatient-only schedule
    • Added compensation for leadership duties and committee involvement
