Nurse - Step Down Unit

All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis, CA. Up to $25K in bonus incentives (sign-on and relocation).

Job Description

• Join a Forbes Top 10 CA Employer and have a direct impact on quality inpatient care in a system with over 1,000 beds.
• Work in a new 7-bed step down unit located in the heart of our trauma PACU, caring for post-op admits awaiting beds.
• Collaborate with PACU teams and provide excellent care to post-surgical patients awaiting floor space.
• Patient acuity ranges from Med Surg to Step Down level with ratios from 1:3 to 1:5 as appropriate.
• Time and a half after 8 hours, plus weekend and night differential, and call pay.
• Free Continuing Education and certification including BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent ICU, Critical Care, Stepdown, or telemetry bedside experience highly preferred.
• California RN state license.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association required.
• ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into the job.
