    Facility Overview:

    East Georgia Regional Medical Center's healthcare team consists of approximately 1000 associates and over 120 physicians representing a wide range of specialties. The hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department, a Level II neonatal center, same-day surgery and ambulatory care, a pain management center, a wound care clinic, two cardiac catheterization labs, and state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures including digital mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, and interventional cardiology/radiology. There are 9 OBGYNs, 21 PCPs, and 3 General Surgeons on staff. Large referral base. Robust hospitalist program with 10 Hospitalists (8 daytimers and 2 nocturnists).
