Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic Surgery

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana

Job Description:

• First assist in endoscopic vein harvesting
• Participate in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
• Provide full spectrum cardiac surgery care, including pre-op and post-op care
• Manage post-op patients, including addressing arrhythmias and fluid balance in collaboration with the surgeon
• Act as a liaison between the surgeon, patient, family, and staff
• Work within a collaborative team of cardiac surgeons and advanced practice providers

Requirements:

• Licensure as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority
• CT Surgery experience preferred, but highly motivated new graduates will be considered
