    Job Description

    • $20,000 sign-on bonus with a two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicants who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.
    • Full-time status (0.8-1.0 FTE) with 12-hour shifts starting at 1900.
    • Schedule requirements include three 12-hour shifts each week and every third weekend.
    • The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to discharge or transfer.
    • Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel.
    • Knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents related to critical care.

    Requirements

    • Current state RN license
    • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
    • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
    • ACLS required within six months of hire
    • One (1) year of ICU experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BSN
    • Experience in critical care
    • Previous experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
    • CCRN certification
