Job Description
- $20,000 sign-on bonus with a two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicants who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.
- Full-time status (0.8-1.0 FTE) with 12-hour shifts starting at 1900.
- Schedule requirements include three 12-hour shifts each week and every third weekend.
- The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to discharge or transfer.
- Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel.
- Knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents related to critical care.
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- ACLS required within six months of hire
- One (1) year of ICU experience
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Experience in critical care
- Previous experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
- CCRN certification
