    Job Description

    • Utilize the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of acute patients from admission to discharge or transfer.
    • Provide expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acting as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.
    • Manage patient loads within assigned timelines and be knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.

    Requirements

    • Current state RN license
    • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
    • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
    • ACLS and NIHSS within three (3) months of hire
    • One (1) year of acute care experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BSN preferred
    • Two (2) to three (3) years of acute care experience
    • Med/Surg certification
