    Registered Nurse (RN)

    Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Orthopedics unit. This full-time position offers a 12-hour shift schedule, starting at 0700, with three 12-hour shifts each week and every third weekend.

    Job Description

    • Utilize nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to discharge or transfer.
    • Provide expert care and education to patients in a clinical setting, acting as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.
    • Manage patient loads within assigned timelines and demonstrate knowledge in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.

    Requirements

    • Experience in post-surgical nursing
    • Current state RN license
    • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
    • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
    • One year of acute care experience
    • Six months of Charge nurse experience within the last year

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BSN
    • ACLS certification
    • Experience in post-surgical, orthopedics, or rehabilitation
