Registered Nurse (RN)
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Orthopedics unit. This full-time position offers a 12-hour shift schedule, starting at 0700, with three 12-hour shifts each week and every third weekend.
Job Description
- Utilize nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to discharge or transfer.
- Provide expert care and education to patients in a clinical setting, acting as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.
- Manage patient loads within assigned timelines and demonstrate knowledge in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.
Requirements
- Experience in post-surgical nursing
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- One year of acute care experience
- Six months of Charge nurse experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- ACLS certification
- Experience in post-surgical, orthopedics, or rehabilitation
