Special Procedure Technologist
Join our team at Community Medical Center in the Cardiac Catheter Lab as a Special Procedure Technologist. This full-time position offers a day shift and a competitive pay range of $43.63 - $54.55 per hour.
Job Description
- Perform proper radiographic procedures as required by physician orders.
- Provide patient service using diagnostic, portable, and fluoroscopic equipment.
- Produce quality radiographs for proper treatment and diagnosis by the physician.
- Prepare the patient prior to the procedure.
- Assist the physician during cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, peripheral angiograms and interventions, permanent pacemaker procedures, and neurological angiograms and interventions.
- Participate in unit Quality Improvement evaluation activities.
- Use an understanding of the principles of growth and development to provide age-specific treatment.
Requirements
- Graduate of Approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- NJ Licensure.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS through American Heart Association.
- Successful completion of department-specific orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification.
