    Special Procedure Technologist

    Join our team at Community Medical Center in the Cardiac Catheter Lab as a Special Procedure Technologist. This full-time position offers a day shift and a competitive pay range of $43.63 - $54.55 per hour.

    Job Description

    • Perform proper radiographic procedures as required by physician orders.
    • Provide patient service using diagnostic, portable, and fluoroscopic equipment.
    • Produce quality radiographs for proper treatment and diagnosis by the physician.
    • Prepare the patient prior to the procedure.
    • Assist the physician during cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, peripheral angiograms and interventions, permanent pacemaker procedures, and neurological angiograms and interventions.
    • Participate in unit Quality Improvement evaluation activities.
    • Use an understanding of the principles of growth and development to provide age-specific treatment.

    Requirements

    • Graduate of Approved School of Radiologic Technology.
    • NJ Licensure.
    • ARRT Certification.
    • BLS through American Heart Association.
    • Successful completion of department-specific orientation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • ACLS certification.
