    Job Description:

    • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local, and other regulatory requirements.
    • Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
    • Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
    • Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
    • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
    • Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
    • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
    • Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
    • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
    • Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
    • Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

    Requirements:

    • Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma.
    • Passed SPI exam preferred.
    • Current ARDMS certifications or AART (S), or ARDMS Registry / ARRT (S) Eligible preferred.
    • BLS/CPR certification required.

    Compensation:

    • Pay Range: USD $38.00 per hour
    • Shift: Mornings
    • Shift Variations: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm
