Ultrasound Technologist
Job Description:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
- Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
- Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
- Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma.
- Passed SPI exam preferred.
- Current ARDMS certifications or AART (S), or ARDMS Registry / ARRT (S) Eligible preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.

Compensation:
- Pay Range: USD $38.00 per hour
- Shift: Mornings
- Shift Variations: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm
- Bonus/Incentives: $7,500.00 Sign On Bonus or Student Loan Repayment!
