Out-patient Physical Therapist - Pediatric Clinic

We are seeking a motivated individual to join an outpatient clinic in Forest, VA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team (the clinic consists of SLP, OT, PT, and BCBA) in a family-centered environment.

Job Description

• Evaluate and assess patients to determine physical therapy needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate families on home exercises and strategies to support continued progress.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
