Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Job Description:

• Provide anesthesia services in a hospital-based OR.
• Supervise CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) about 40% of the time (supervising 3-4 CRNAs per shift, max 4 at a time).
• Perform anesthesia for a variety of cases including ortho, OB, and regional anesthesia.
• No neuro or cardiac cases.
• Work alongside a team of 55 anesthesiologists and 30 CRNAs.
• Handle 22 operating rooms, with an average number of cases varying.
• Level 1 trauma center with 80% adult and 20% trauma patient demographics.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology (or Board Eligible if within 5 years of residency).
• Active Colorado State License or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Clean background and no history of malpractice claims.
• COVID Vaccination required (medical exemptions accepted).
