    Job Description:

    A Non-Interventional Cardiologist specializes in diagnosing and managing heart conditions without performing invasive procedures. The role involves conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and advising patients on lifestyle changes to improve heart health.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Diagnostic Testing & Interpretation:

      • Perform and/or interpret various diagnostic tests, including:
        • Echocardiograms: Use ultrasound to visualize the heart's structure and function.
        • Stress Tests: Evaluate heart function under physical exertion.
        • Electrocardiograms (EKGs): Record the electrical activity of the heart.
        • CAM Patch Tests: Interpret ambulatory cardiac monitoring devices.
      • Order and utilize advanced imaging, including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and PET scans to assist in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular disease.
    • Treatment Planning:

      • Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on diagnostic results.
      • Prescribe medications to manage heart conditions, including arrhythmias, hypertension, and coronary artery disease.
    • Patient Care & Lifestyle Recommendations:

      • Advise patients on lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise, and smoking cessation to improve heart health.
      • Provide services in both outpatient and inpatient settings as necessary to ensure optimal patient care.
    • Collaboration & Communication:

      • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
      • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and the broader medical team.

    Requirements:

    • Education:

      • Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
      • Satisfactory completion of a Residency Program in Internal Medicine or General Cardiology.
      • Completion of an American or Canadian Fellowship in Cardiology.
    • Licenses/Certifications:

      • Current professional licensure in Washington State required.
      • Active, unrestricted DEA license required.
      • Board Certification in Cardiology (American or Canadian Board Sub-Specialty).
      • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
    • Skills & Abilities:

      • Ability to interpret clinical, genomic, and efficacy data to inform decision-making.
      • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, managing multiple patients and cases.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Salary/Rate: $450,000-$550,000
