    Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

    Job Description:

    • Full-Time: AM, PM, overnight (NOC) shifts available
    • $38.50-$40 per hour
    • Assist the Director and oversee the direct care of the residents provided by Caregivers and Medication Aides
    • Contact residents' attending physicians for changes of condition, new admission orders, discharge orders, and changes in medication and treatment orders
    • Notify resident family members/surrogate decision makers of changes in condition, medications, and treatments
    • Develop resident care plans and document all communications
    • Respond quickly, calmly, and professionally to medical emergencies
    • Perform Intravenous therapy, tube feedings, oxygen administration, catheterizations, suctioning, and dressing changes
    • Carry out medication administration and treatment procedures accurately
    • Assist with direct resident care, such as bathing, grooming, transferring, and repositioning as needed
    • Accept additional responsibilities in emergency situations
    • Complete other duties as assigned by the Director

    Requirements:

    • Reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor
    • Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse License in good standing with the LVN Board of Nursing
    • At least one year of experience providing direct nursing care to the elderly and chronically ill patients, preferably in an Assisted Living facility
    • Knowledge of Title 22 RCFE Regulations preferred
    • Current First Aid and CPR certification
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
